    Women 4 Leadership

    ONGOING PROGRAM

    The Women4Leadership project aims at raising awareness and breaking social norms by educating young women on dismantling patriarchal stereotypes related to their sexual and reproductive health rights. The project helps strengthen the role of young change-makers and the capacity for the action of youth in the fight against gender-based violence, women's access to reproductive and sexual health rights, and the advancement of comprehensive sex education.

    Rising HERizon

    Tech SHEros

    PAST PROGRAM

    An ambitious six-month initiative aimed at empowering young women in Puerto Rico by equipping them with essential digital and leadership skills to harness their STEM backgrounds in building innovative tech solutions to the island’s climate challenges.

    Training Her

    PAST PROGRAM

    The program covered finding your writing voice, journalistic principles such as objectivity and inclusive language, how to structure different types of articles, interviewing techniques, and editing for clarity and impact, all over the course of 12 weeks.

    Young Feminist Scholars

    PAST PROGRAM

    A program meant for any student who is extremely passionate about feminism and gender issues. The goal will be for each scholar to deliver a report specializing on a region in the world covering issues related to gender-based violence and/or women's political participation.

    Pads4Her

    PAST PROJECT

    In partnership with Purposeful and the money raised from our crowdfunding campaign, Politics4Her has successfully produced 1,000 toolkits on menstrual health and reusable sanitary pads in collaboration with women's cooperatives in Morocco. These essential supplies are distributed in the earthquake-affected zones, accompanied by a comprehensive workshop on menstruation.

    Anera Crowdfunding

    PAST PROJECT

    Since the onset of the genocide in Palestine, Politics4Her has raised nearly $70,000 for Anera, a dedicated humanitarian NGO working in the region. Anera has utilized these funds to purchase and prepare menstrual kits, each containing underwear and sanitary pads. These kits have already been delivered to over 2,300 displaced women in Gaza, providing much-needed relief and support in this critical time.

    UNHCR Life's a cycle

    PAST PROJECT

    In partnership with UNHCR Morocco, Politics4Her adapted its existing menstruation toolkit to address the unique challenges of forced migration. These adapted toolkits were distributed as part of care packages to 250 women refugees in Morocco during a series of informative workshops. Additionally, Politics4Her contributed to a digital campaign aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation, further empowering women and raising awareness on this critical issue.

    UNDP Arab Leadership Academy for Women

    In partnership with UNDP Arab States, Politics4Her SWANA supported UNDP’s digital engagement on The Arab Leadership Academy for Women which is an initiative with programs to promote transformational leadership, intergenerational collaboration, mentoring, and peer support, to respond to societal challenges and foster regional cooperation.

    World YWCA

    PAST PROJECT

    This consultation project led by Politics4Her Asia with World YWCA is a part of the RiseUp! Asia-Pacific Leadership and Advocacy Initiative, focusing on the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) landscape in India. The participatory research explores the often-overlooked SRHR narratives within historically marginalized communities in India by implementing the Feminist Consultation Methodology (FCM). These narratives span across crucial areas such as Legal Rights, Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), Menstrual Activism, support for Queer Youth, and Accessibility/Inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. The primary goal of this project is to illuminate the lived experiences of these communities and their vision for impactful change.

    Gender Transformative Education

    PAST PROJECT

    Thanks to the Education Shifts Power Grant, Politics4Her SWANA is working on developing a needs assessment and policy brief concerning Gender Transformative Education in Jordan. This piece of work aims to investigate the current state of gender in the educational system and curriculum in the country, along with highlighting the main points that ought to be addressed in upcoming national efforts. Insights will be collected from gender and education experts to ensure an accurate and inclusive representation of the topic and issues.
